Located in the northwestern corner of the Old City of Jerusalem, Christian Quarter features some 40 holy places, including the purported tomb of Jesus, over which an important church stands. This major Christian pilgrimage site includes the end of the Via Dolorosa and the reputed site of Christ's execution. You can see mosaics depicting the life of Saint John the Baptist, considered the oldest standing Christian monument in the Old City, and a museum of the Orthodox Patriarchate.   • This is the second least interesting quarter after the Jewish quarter. Not much to see or enjoy. You may not even pass through it if you do not make an effort.  more »
