  • I spent approximately four hours there with 11, 9, 6, 4 year olds and they pretty much ran through the place within 30 minutes. What saved the day were the various games in the “machine” room (to the ...  more »
  • There are relatively few things to do with kids in Jerusalem during inclement weather, and this museum should be high on the list. The exhibits aren't flashy, but they are well designed, experiential,...  more »

  • Awesome place. Lots of activities for kids. In some holidays they do workshops related to the holiday. There is a little store inside for food and drinks but not for like a full lunch. Plan for a 2 - 2 and a half hours stay. Kids under 5 enter for free. They offer student discount.
  • A great museum for kids and immature adults. they have dozens of hands on exhibits that covered all facets of the topics. they had an exceptional hall electricity that covered the topic fantastically well. they did energy well too. The highlight of the displays was the hall of perception. it was the best coverage of the topic I have ever seen. all displays were in Hebrew, Arabic, and English. The English was of a high standard.
  • Highly recommended. Visiting this museum once in while. Very good place to spend couple a hours with kids from 2 years up. They change the main theme sometimes, that gives the fresh feeling.
  • Great museum to visit with gan and primary age kids. The three-year-old didn't get as much out of it, but wasn't generally bored either. Even on Yom Ha'atzmaut with heavily reduced ticket prices it didn't feel too crowded. It was definitely busy, but the staffing and activities were well planned so there was always space to do something interesting. The current exhibits and activities around building with cardboard (22 March to 14 June 2018) are very creative, with lots of scope for the imagination while getting to know the properties of the medium. We aren't planning to go again during this exhibit, but by the time the next one comes around I'm sure the kids will be happy to have another go at the permanent more general science activities. These tend towards mechanical physics, optics, mirrors and so on. Unfortunately my kids weren't that interested in the exhibits on the history of bicycles or coding and computers, and the greenhouse was closed, but they were also well done and expansive. My one real complaint is that there's only a baby changing space in the women's toilets, and not in the men's.
  • Very very fun. Lots of things to do, even for an almost 2 year old (kids a few years bit older would have more fun). Parking is a problem on days that are very busy like Passover.
