  • There are a variety of attractions and activities for children. Each Saturday, there are special shows or special sessions. There is an exhibition that changes every time. Very recommended! There are ...  more »
  • We arrived at the Science Museum in holiday weeks arrest Whats a place parents and children, grandmothers who kindly hatnodbo to spend summer vacation stuck with the grandchildren. In the bottom there were plenty of workshops and the place looks as Jamboree or camp of the pupils had trouble finding. Because I arrived with teenagers not seen themselves on the floor and colorful straws models or components fold-outs of various geometric shapes. The Museum's positioning seems unclear. Most of the audience was great and fundamental preschool, but what about the older crowd? Nice exhibits, some of which can run but nothing special. The exhibition on the development of agriculture is not, in my view, and is very active and less text. Basically, you can have more fun with training and demonstrations of the Museum Guide. Without training, you can make in less than two hours. Actually the movie in 3D technology, which received no recommendations shown regularly at even (like we were) was just one afternoon screenings. Why And there's no Auditorium. In summary, not nearly the madatech qualities. And more: Achilles heel. The tiny Museum, there are almost no parking available in blue and white and don't be tempted to park in the parking space and free cosell across the street! It looks inviting and tempting. We arrived early and got a great parking place, when we went for lunch turns stuffing and Lithgow Dane at f people camped in every angle, even on the road, and especially do not allow internal out parking. Luckily we were able to squeeze out, but what you do with two grandchildren tired hungry Grandma in a buggy. In conclusion-there are lots of amazing sites in Jerusalem. This Museum doesn't have to put on him.

  • I needed an air conditioned place to go with my 11 year old. This seemed like the best option since the aquarium still hasn't opened. We have been here before and it has many things to interest this age. Unfortunately, some exhibits were still under construction and many of the established activities need to be fixed. Overall, we had a nice time, I was just disappointed over the various exhibits that were in disrepair. It might be nice to have more audio explanations along with the written descriptions. Sometimes no one has patience to read.
  • Old museum. A lot of devices not working... Even at 3D theatre, 2 of 3 glasses were replaced after 10 minutes from film beginning... As an adult -disappointed. For 5-6 years old children it was good; nothing doesn't matter :))) They played as usual :) We'll try to go to Caraso Park at Beer Sheva, newer one.
  • We visited the museum during a summer vacation. It was pretty busy but the staff were terrific. They brought water to us while we were waiting to enter. Once inside, our kids loved the exhibits. Kids can interact with exhibits and learn a lot in the process. We had a lot of fun.
  • Large variety of interesting attractions. A great place to introduce kids to science and technology. The only problem is that people bring toddlers there, who are too young to appreciate the attractions. As a result they get bored, make a racket and spoil the experience for the rest of the visitors.
  • Good place to go with children, if you were there once, nothing new to see. Really missing inovations or temporary exhibitions that will bring new lights to this museum. Might be very very crowded during public vacations and holidays.

Where to stay in Jerusalem

Although it lacks a big selection of mid-range options, Jerusalem provides plenty of choices in the top-end hotel category. The Old City contains the bulk of Jerusalem's small hotels, inexpensive hostels, and religious hospices, all of which appeal to budget-conscious travelers. West Jerusalem offers additional options in the form of guesthouses and bigger hotels, some of which boast five-star ratings. If you just need a bed, consider a youth hostel, where you can choose between private and common rooms with Wi-Fi included.
