  • Old Jaffa port, one of the oldest in the world, whose history dates back more than three millennia, definitely interesting and symbolic place not less ancient city of Jaffa (Yaffa). Port, as it is known, is mentioned even in the old testament, Hiram King of tyre here prigonjal rafts Cedars ... Today, of course, a port of the tourist zone and place to attract tourists in the adjoining restaurants. The walk seemed interesting, but nothing memorable. Operating the harbour is enclosed by fences, so a simple tourist does not leave nor to the pier, especially on the Mall. So you have to contemplate the port facilities from afar, trying to understand what the ancient port-it Mole, or the remains of the hangar, or fishing piers moored camber is clearly not biblical age ... Or mountain fishing nets near the mountains of fishing the same garbage, which in some places was not, perhaps, from the time of King Hiram ... Walk around the port, of course, does not seem bezynteresnoj, but bring the port some semblance of order would not hurt ... Tourist attraction still ...
