Israeli Children's Museum, Holon

Specialty Museum Museum
A museum parents will love, Israeli Children's Museum teaches children tolerance and dialogue by inviting them to enter fantasy worlds they help to create. Kids become characters in one of five story trails, which they shape through their involvement. Numerous hands-on exhibits help them explore their senses and feelings. They'll discover the world of visually and hearing impaired people through interactive displays presented by blind and deaf guides. Yet another multimedia exhibit introduces children to the process of aging. • Gives everyone a true appreciation of the challenges of the blind or visually impaired. It take a little while to get used to the pitch black but well worth it. Very unique experience.  more »

  • An Interesting concept but I would have prefer to have a part of the museum that is open for everybody with special activities for kids (like the stickers in Tel Aviv Museum)
  • Amazing experience! Dialogue in the dark was very good and gave a great insight into what its like to be blind
  • We took the Beatles tour, it was really amazing. Ticket administration, however, was awful. It really harmed our enjoyment of the day. Although we came on time we joined the tour 30min late, due to long lines at the ticket desk (yes, you have to stop there even if you purchased your tickets online), not enough people to help, tons of issues with tickets and many other frustrated families like us. Such a pity!
  • Dialog in the darkness is a must! A truly unique experience that opens your mind a little and makes you think. It is great that there is a place that shows you how it feels to not being able to see for an hour, and more importantly it allows you to listen to the stories and speak with some amazing people.
  • Short or long visit. Young or old. Every one can learn and enjoy this place. Lots of parking, very educational while fun experience
