4/5 based on 100+ reviews on the web
Located in the city's new culture area, Design Museum Holon provides insight into the work of prominent Israeli and international designers. London-based Israeli architect Ron Arad designed the building's iconic curved exterior--perhaps the most impressive aspect of the whole museum. Slightly reminiscent of Guggenheim, it features five steel bands that circle around the building, acting like its spine; inside, two levels of exhibits link up via a sculptural ramp. The museum makes up part of a larger educational complex featuring a library, cinema, theater, and other museums. • The Museum is relatively new and no doubt became a landmark in the city. Specializes on contemporary issues and trends in the design world. It will be interesting to the youth and people interested in this area. For more than two hours here not to stay, because it is quite possible to combine with anything else.
