  • Views of the sea and the port city of Haifa, rustic and family atmosphere, to advise for all.

  • The order arose between the ages 11 and 12. Is on Mount Carmel, with a beautiful view of the city of Haifa. Account the tradition that the Prophet Elijah settled in a cave on Mount Carmel following an eremitic life of prayer and silence. Was it the first Carmelite religious inspiration to create a contemplative routine.

  • I mean great but not exceptional. Nice view over all Haifa, but not more than that. Not that exciting for family with small kids.
  • Stella Maris Monastery has a church too. Nice place, especially to see Haifa port and bay. Best place to take good photos.
  • Beautiful experience. It is a calm church not so crowded as other in Israel. The views and food close by are pretty good. And you can ride a cable car down to the sea side of the city.
  • A very beautiful monastery. If you a lucky you might even watch the mess
  • A nice and simple church with a great viewing point.
  • It's a great place for praying ❤
