Place in the upper part of the city of Haifa where both the Basilica and the monastery. It is said that here was founded the order of the Carmelites since they are in the Mount Carmel. Interesting level religious and very well preserved. It has a very good souvenir shop.

Beautiful place with a wondrous echo. Great place to just sit and contemplate/meditate. If you can sing, bring in some Latin hymns, it has perfect acoustics for that.

This beautiful monastery is build over the upper cave of Elijah. You an go inside and view the cave and sit on the pews. The cave is more of an alcove with an alter built into it.

Look in the German Colony district close to the port to find the main bulk of the accommodations in Haifa. With its proximity to many of the urban attractions, this area has become a modern tourism hot spot. Here, you'll discover a rich mix of luxury hotels and boutiques set in well-maintained old blocks, as well as particularly budget-friendly options such as guesthouses.
