Sculptures Garden (Gan Hapsalim), Haifa

(4.1/5 based on 95+ reviews on the web)
Perched on a hilltop with scenic views of the bay, Sculptures Garden (Gan Hapsalim) displays 29 bronze sculptures by Berlin-born artist Ursula Malbin. Walk across the green grass lawns past sculptures representing children and teenagers playing with balls, hoops, kittens, and birds. A significant number of statues are nudes, which prompted a group of Orthodox Jews to make the unusual request that the artist dress them. • Going there all my life since I was little, and also now with my young son. Great place to come and let the children run on the grass and climb the statues. Also many shaded corners to sit in hot days...  more »
  • Ursula malbin sculpture park is located close to the Bahai gardens. The park itself is organized in 60-ies, and in 1976 year there installed 29 bronze sculptures donated by Ursula city. Out of the Park a beautiful view of the Haifa Bay, many cozy, shady benches. It is the only Park in the world of work, women-sculptor.

  • We went up with my grandson. He was cranky but still had a good time looking at the sculptures. They are so sweet and easy to identify with, they are nice for all ages. The little ones can even sit on...  more »

  • It is nice spot to make a picnic and it is very close to a nice view point over Haifa. The garden itself isn't really big and the sculptures are not so expressive. I would come here only of you have some spare time in Haifa.
  • Unfamiliar to many, this is one of Haifa's best parks, regardless of its petit size. The garden is decorated with real size statues that kids love climbing. Benches, green grass and the spectacular view make this a great romantic getaway. Many bring their dogs and enjoy the fully fenced park, mostly at evening time. Free entrance, no facilities, available free parking below the park.
  • Beatutiful scalpture garden with great view to the bay.
  • Small, intimate garden, great view towards the harbor, nice figurative sculptures by Ursula Malbin. Usually very calm, is used by many communities: Christians, Muslims and Jews alike. Nice place for a picnic or a Nargila.
  • A beautiful garden with nice sculptures overlooking the Mediterranean. There are plenty of benches to take a rest, and you can pass through this sculpture garden as you are walking down from the top of the Baha'i Garden.
