  • The view is excellent. Mount Carmel is located between the Mediterranean Sea and the Valley of Jezreel. Wonderful to contemplate and reflect. Near's craft shop, the image of the Prophet Elijah.

  • Upon arrival, as stated in an earlier review, there are no park rangers and no trail maps. I got here around 9:30 AM on a Thursday. I was the only living soul in sight. The only car in the parking lot...  more »
  • Next to this the Prophet Elijah confronted Baal's prophets ' lies. Great place for a genuine encounter with God.

  • Fabulous views of northern Israel from the rooftop. The statute of Elijah was nice, but much smaller than I expected. The pictures I saw made me think it was 20 feet tall. Its probably closer to 4 or 5ft. The area surrounding the statute has a pretty little garden with places to sit and spend time relaxing. It was a group bus tour and unfortunately we ran out of time and could not go in the church.
  • Love the view from here and the statue of Elijah is intense.
  • הרי הכרמל מרובים במקומות ישיבה, טיולים, נוף מדהים, והרבה ירוק בעיניים.
  • Very nice place.
