Inspirock Rating:
4.6/5 based on 400+ reviews on the web
Enjoy a full panorama of Haifa Bay, as well as the cities of Haifa and Acre, along Louis Promenade, a relaxing pedestrian strip following the contour of Mount Carmel. Opened in 1992, this 400 m (1,312 ft) promenade has been dubbed the balcony of the country. Set in a hotel area, the tree-lined walk has numerous cafes along the way. Observe cargo ships calling into Haifa port and take a sweeping glance of the Krayot suburbs, Mount Hermon, and Rosh HaNikra while enjoying a cup of coffee or a meal. Well-maintained paths, benches, and children's playing areas make the promenade a good spot for jogging or family visits.
