Hanging Bridge at Nesher Park, Haifa

Categories: Nature & Parks
Inspirock Rating:
4.2/5 based on 100+ reviews on the web
Stand high above the treetops on Hanging Bridge at Nesher Park, taking in scenic views of the park, the bay, and the mountain. The narrow steel suspension bridge spans a ravine cut by a seasonal river; its height of 70 m (230 ft) may pose a challenge for acrophobics. The second suspension bridge also hangs on steel cables, just 150 m (492 ft) from the first one. Both bridges lie along a hiking route that leads through a forest of pines, Israeli oaks, Greek strawberry trees, and Mediterranean shrubs, before reaching a recreational area. • Came from Haifa at 12.00 (October), it was very hot, a lot of people on the bridge. Therefore, I recommend to visit in the morning. The second bridge was closed. You can walk along the routes that appear on the map at the entrance. Entrance is free of charge. Take a picture of the map on the phone, because along the way, she we no longer met. Fun for children 3-12 years. You can see if you have already visited all the attractions of Israel. Specially-not worth it.
