Baha'i Gardens and Golden Dome, Haifa

Garden Landmark
Driving or walking up to Baha'i Gardens and Golden Dome remains a jaw-dropping experience, as the symmetrical and perfectly manicured grounds seem impossibly difficult to maintain. Tours of the gardens take place in several languages a few times a day and are the only way visitors can see the site up close. Walk with your guide from the gardens' tallest point down to the shrine of the Bab, a Baha'i holy leader and prophet. Dress modestly to cover your shoulders and knees and keep in mind that no food or drink except for water may be brought into the gardens. • One of the monuments that I liked on my trip to Israel were the Persian gardens of the Bahá ' í Temple in the city of Haifa. Perfectly care offer an image of grandeur and it gives us an idea of what this religion. The views from the top of the city and the sea are spectacular.

  • Breathtaking scenery. Are impeccably manicured gardens, a contagious and a striking view. This no one can lose.

  • I think it makes no sense to write that stunningly beautiful gardens. Will address the logistics. We came by train to Haifa, Bat Galim bus stop, from there bus 136 to the top, there is very close to the entrance to the Bahai gardens. The site has a schedule of free tours in Hebrew, English and Russian languages. A wonderful excursion, not complex route (just down the stairs, climb can only Bahá ' ís;-)) inside the gardens should not be there and smoke, drink only water. Requires modest clothing (knees and shoulders are closed). Gardens are simply stunning, immediately striking what plants there routine for Israel, neither exotic nor expensive colors-all extraordinary beauty care is achieved through love, the art of gardening. Note that temple and an adjoining indoor garden closed at 12, if you want to get there, you have to consider (the terrace till 17.00). Output with tours approximately in the middle of Carmel, you can go on foot to the German colony and walk there, visit one of the restaurants.

Where to stay in Haifa

Look in the German Colony district close to the port to find the main bulk of the accommodations in Haifa. With its proximity to many of the urban attractions, this area has become a modern tourism hot spot. Here, you'll discover a rich mix of luxury hotels and boutiques set in well-maintained old blocks, as well as particularly budget-friendly options such as guesthouses. Alternatively, the coastline provides plenty of upmarket hotels in the more developed neighborhoods, and a scattering of guesthouses and resorts close to the sandy beaches.
