The park spans 6,070 hectares (15,000 acres) and includes a host of unusual geological formations like naturally eroded arches and columns. Also within its borders, you can view ancient mining techniques used in the area since as early as the 10th century BCE, when Edomites extracted the resource for use in decorations and weaponry. • Very big and beautiful park. A lot of places to visit and to see. The park is dedicated to King Salomon Cooper mines and the early period of Cooper discovering. The park can be a part of a trip and also a full day activity or even more. The nature is magically beautiful. There is a big possibility to see some animals from this area. Very recommended place.
  • Their animated intro video to the park is so corny that it's AMAZING!! The views, copper mines, and geology are simply breathtaking. Even in the summer! Get the dates they sell at the water area. They're delicious!
  • We had a guided tour with the guide coming around on the bus with us. Began with a video explaining the history of the location and we learned about how copper and iron were mined and refined beginning thousands of years ago. The scenery was beautiful throughout as well.
  • A really beauty of nature. Strong site to visit again and again to relax and refill your battery. Highly recommended to all who lack a great veiw and sound of silent. There is also great view on Timna park from Berekh mountain (הר ברך) that can be accessed from road #12, some say that is the best desert view in Israel.
  • love this place. we rent a car and drove into the park and saw the many attractions along the way. it is truly amazing that such places exist on earth.
