Camel Ranch Eilat, Eilat

3.9
#29 of 120 in Things to do in Eilat
Ranch · Hidden Gem · Tourist Spot
Located on a mountain reserve, Camel Ranch Eilat offers safari tours over desert trails with a stop for a campfire Bedouin meal. Ride on the back of a friendly camel through a landscape of barren hills, dotted by small patches of grass and shrubby vegetation. You'll rest in the traditional setting of a Bedouin tent and learn how to make Arab pita bread over an open fire. In scorching weather, a donkey caravan makes a more comfortable alternative. The ranch also features an adventure park and other farm animals, such as goats and peacocks. • Awesome! It is quite expensive, but really worth it. The people are very nice and really care about the camels. They help you get up the camel and on the way they check everything again and again so you can't fall off. I recommend everybody to go to the camel ranch!
  • Was really nice and funny, the camel riding sunset tour for 2 hours is great. The camels and staff are really friendly. Had a nice time there. One of my most delightful experience
  • We took the 4 hour camel ride, which was worth the time and money. Friendly guide, well behaving camels. We would have liked an even longer ride, even though it was the first time we did a camel ride.
  • FUN! The camels are nice and our guide obviously loved them. It was a good experience. At first you feel a bit precarious but soon you get used to it. Afterwards the guide started a fire and served us tea with tortillas he made and cooked right in front of us. The only thing that would have made it better is if the guide has talked more about the camels and the food. Wear closed toed shoes and long pants.
  • Amazing guide. Nice people. I enjoyed the camel ride into the mountains. The Bedouin dinner was very tasty, tradituonal and cozy. I recommend a visit to this place for anyone visiting eilat.
