4.5/5 based on 1,300+ reviews on the web
Swim, float, and nourish your skin at Dead Sea, a hypersaline lake. At 428 m (1,404 ft) below sea level, it is the earth's lowest point. However, the sea is most notable for the water's saltiness, which makes it good for floating and lends it some restorative dermatological properties. Salt and minerals from the sea are used in cosmetics and bath products all over the world. Camp or lounge on the sandy, open-access, northwest beach surrounded by hotels, or visit the mineral beach where bathers coat their skin in healing black mud. Be careful not to get the water in your eyes or in any open cuts--it will sting. Choose to start, finish, or center your holiday on a trip to Dead Sea by using our Ein Bokek itinerary planner.

  • Dead Sea-Kaif. Air 38 deg, water 33 deg. Flew out of the water after a minute and ran be washed — so all ŝipalo. The second set-10 m-a little ŝipalo. The third set-10 m-all fine. Skin after sea soft like a baby. Caution-do not bryznete in your eyes and do not rub your eyes with your hands. Very many good cosmetics and Perfumery in the shop.
