Uncover ancient ruins dating back to the 4th century BCE at Bet She'an National Park, home to the largest preserved Byzantine bathhouse in Israel. In its earliest days, the city was a central stop for trade caravans, developing into a sprawling Roman-Byzantine metropolis. Wander through the remains of ancient monuments, temples and columns, damaged by a 749 CE earthquake that marked the city's demise. Drop by the 7,000-seat Roman amphitheatre to see one of the best examples of its kind in the country. With our custom trip planner, Beit She'an attractions like Bet She'an National Park can be center stage of your vacation plans, and you can find out about other attractions like it, unlike it, near it, and miles away.

  • חוויה מדהימה של סיור לילי בבית שאן, איזו עיר מרשימה כמה היסטוריה ואילו אפקטיים של אור וקול להשלמת החוויה. חובה עם אתם בסביבה- לילות שאן
  • After a visit to the nearby Beth Alfa with the beautiful mosaic floors, this was a big surprise. Extensive excavations in a good condition. The map made clear that you imagined in Roman times, as it were. The amphitheatre, the bath house, the temple and the long main street with shops, great! And an hour before closing time we were the only visitors. Also very special.
