  • Ancient Skeetopolis built the great warriors of the Scythians. These excavations with desjatokom cultural layers are required to visit and very interesting.

  • Got accidentally through the main entrance and through the forest. After going on a fresh forest after the rain came to the excavations! Such splendor and this story! Impressed! Skifopolis is one of the cities of the Decapolis (ten Hellenistic cities United by the Roman Commander Pompey in a separate administrative unit). The complex includes the Roman theater, the baths, the Colonnade on the streets, the cardo and the Decumanus, where was located the ancient stalls covered with floor mosaics. On the right side of the Cardo (the area that is today known as Palladius) columns of the Ionic order capitals is crowned, and on the left, on the part of the baths is more rich in decoration of the Corinthian order. The columns of the theatre also is crowned Corinthian capitals
