  • Very interesting Archaeological Park on the site of an ancient Ashkelon. There are ruins of the castle of Richard the Lionheart, the remnants of defensive walls and arched gate-the oldest in the world. There are a lot of interesting things, in the Park, you can ride on the machine, but this is for a fee. The Hill overlooks the town and the sea.

  • Currently, this fortress-city. in the excavations, many exhibits can be seen directly outdoors. There, experts say, remains the world's first water supply system with a system of wells. The Park is equipped with the same and to rest and is one of their favorite places, not only for the residents of Ashkelon, but also for visitors from other cities and visitors to Israel. Old buildings are visible from the shore. Unfortunately the water is itching them and they gradually fall. The remains of the city wall. Issues such as time of visit-I responded about as we are there periodically with friends, guests and families. For visitors to the city and cars pass and fare paid (not expensive). Dawn did not see, but the sunset!

  • Great place for camping... Access to the sea, public bathrooms and showers. Plugin electricity available to charge smartphones. Plenty of space for tents.
  • Ashqelon National Park is a beautiful and well groomed Archaeological Park overlooking the coast of the Mediterranean inside you can see the World's oldest Hittite City Gate, enjoy a large BBQ plaza and visit a variety of Archaeological sites from the City's Ancient History there's even the ruins of a Templar age Basilica named "Santa Maria Viridis".
  • great park, you can get there for a walking, running, cycling or any other sport activity. there is access to the southern beach from the park. no problems with the parking .
  • National archeology historical place. Great view. Clean spacious picnic areas.
  • The place where legend says from Bible Shimshon where put into the jail and then he ruined all around and killed his enemies. There is a place for making bbq and even stay overnight in the tent. But for all you have to pay. Even for entrance into the park. GREAT place for family
