  • I played here last year in a pro competition, I'd only ever heard people talk about this place with mixed comments, but when I stepped on to the first and saw the sleepers in the bunker I knew this pl...  more »
  • This is not a "links" course, it is by the sea but does not have the type of turf a true links course has. Compare the turf here to genuine links courses like Lahinch, Baltray, Portmarnock, Royal Co. ...  more »
  • Although I lost my match 2-1 here this course was amazing. I found myself just staring at this course and surrounding landscapes in awe. The third hole just got in my head after tee shot - I think fai...  more »

  • I truly don't understand how this course got a one star..... This is the best course I have ever played! Mr Ruddy and his family are one of a kind. Every hole was breathtaking.... I thank Mr Ruddy for making the greatest game ever..... The best! If you are in Ireland for golf, you will make the biggest mistake if you don't play this course...
  • Disregarding my bias towards links golf, this is still one of the best courses in the country. Outside of the very friendly and accommodating staff, the course itself is immaculate and the greens were some of the fastest I've played, For mid November, it is a testament to the greenkeeping staff. I won't be waiting as long to play here again.
  • I agree this is a must play Golf course- my favorite course - challenging, beautiful and at times outright intimidating. It will make you think on every shot and being long off tee wont be a big advantage I also played and would recommend Island Golf Club, Portmarnock and KClub Palmer course however the European club was on a level all to itself. Also stay at the K Club (Kildare Hotel) very special place.
  • One of the top five best links courses I've played.
  • Worst excuse for a golf course ever. You gotta be kidding me!
