  • It is not worthy at all!! don't spend your money in the Westport House and the Pirate Park. Most of the rooms were forbidden to visitors to walk through and others were completely closed. There is not that much to see in the house. The Pirate Park is good for kids but you have to pay extra money for some rides because they are not included in the price of the ticket. But I recommend you the walk around the house, it is very nice.
  • It's a total rip off have to pay at the gate and then have to pay for the most of the ride's No bird's of prey during the week. It's a serious disappointment. three rides doesn't make it a adventure park just can't believe how bad it is best place is the cafe in the stable yard lovely food and staff
  • House was fantastic. Well preserved and donation goes toward upkeep. Historic.

Where to stay in Westport

Many tourists visit Westport for the nightlife or to use it as a base for travel around County Mayo. Though you will most likely spend your time at cafes, pubs, or touring the surrounding countryside, reserve a spot to stay in town in the convenient, historical Quay district. Here you'll find a range of hotels, guesthouses, and bed and breakfasts. If traveling on a budget, look outside the city center for lodging options. Those wanting a more luxurious vacation spot should check out one of the city's many scenic spa destinations.
