Built in 1003, the tower was originally constructed from wood but later rebuilt with stone in the 13th or 14th century.   • We had to see the tower originated by Viking raiders. All the floors have an exhibit of items from Waterford's history. Well worth the price but watch your head, the ceilings are very low. 
  • All I can say is take the tour. It doesn't cost extra, and worth the time. It is very interning on how much influence the Vikings had in the area and all throughout Ireland. 
  • A nice way to spend some time. Conveniently located along to river in the by most of the hotels. Only €4 so it won't break the bank
