Reginald's Tower, Waterford

Set in the historical Viking Triangle, Reginald's Tower represents a circular defense tower and the oldest civic building in Ireland. Built in 1003, the tower was originally constructed from wood but later rebuilt with stone in the 13th or 14th century.   • This is a remnant of the city wall and is an intact watch tower. You can climb to the top..my daughter did and said that the view was great. There are some exhibits to look at on the ground floor, inc...  more »
  • This tour was interesting and I was happy to be able to enter the tower that is so central to Waterford. Learned history about the historic city and saw artifacts 
  • So Interesting to read and see the Fighting between the Iris and the Vikings and How Waterford was set up
