Where to stay in Waterford

There aren't an overwhelming number of places to stay in the city center of Waterford, so consider looking into options in the surrounding neighborhoods. There are a few hotels, smaller lodgings, and a hostel in the heart of the city--the Norman quarter. However, as you venture outside the city center you'll find many traditional bed and breakfasts, cottage-style guesthouses, and family-owned accommodations. The city is easy to get around, so if you stay in a more commercial area, you will still be able to experience the magic of its medieval streets and fortifications.

  • Great trip around the comeragh mountains. Fantastic scenery. Make sure you stop off at mahon falls along the way  more »
  • All year round despite the weather this location can be magnificent to visit. The trail into the falls from the carpark is easy with just some short steep ascents/descents but perhaps not suitable for...  more »
  • This place is incredible. Mahon Falls is accessible via car. The landscape is awe inspiring, absolutely beautiful. There are also quite a lot of other wonderful spots around the area.  more »
