  • Had the boat trip to the Skelligs sea quest posted back in January and we have after until the end, whether the ride at all can take place. What a stroke of luck we had. The weather was indeed cloudy, but we headed anyway. The captain very experienced, not stubbornly straight consider, but tried to make, that we were not completely shaken up the waves. Before the spray could inject us wet, he distributed weatherproof blankets. He was looking at an early stage after dolphins and we got the pleasure to be able to watch a dolphin school time. Again and again, they jumped around us and showed us through. And then Skellig Michael! I had experienced the island ever 30 years ago at Sunshine, this time she hung half way in the fog. It was bad on the one hand, on the other hand it gave her something mystical. We were lucky enough to experience many puffins up close in June. Above the monastery, there was still an approximately 20-minute talk on the island and history who no second was boring and was presented in perfectly understandable English. Compliment! On the ride home, we travelled around still both islands and also here our captain was the greatest trouble, much to show us again. Seals, Gannets, and thousands of other birds. This ride was the absolute highlight of our holiday, also in less good weather. With sea quest at any time!
