Enjoy relaxation and recreation at Banna Strand, a long, sandy beach hugging Tralee Bay. Sand dunes run along the entire length of the beach, and there are plenty of activities to enjoy. Try your skills at kite surfing, paragliding, and boogie boarding, or if you prefer a more low-key approach, get out the fishing pole. The current from the Atlantic is not too strong and children can swim safely with supervision from on-site lifeguards. For a bit of history, look for the memorial honoring several men who attempted to land arms for Irish Republicans from a German vessel. As it seems all the beaches on the Wild Atlantic Way this one is amazing also. It is huge. The tide was out and the sun tried to peak through the clouds so it was easy to put in a couple of hours...

Beautiful beach that goes on for several miles. Great for long walks.
Very wet the dsy I was here but very good beach
Beautiful beach kids loved the surfing even in the rain
Banna beach another lovely beach lovely to just sit out and relax or good for a swim
Beautiful clean beach, with fantastic views. Loads of parking, never struggled to find a space even in the summer. Long stretch of beach so great place to go for a fairly long walk and swim in the ocean. They have outside showers to blast off the sand and toilet facilities - though the later is a little bit away from the main car park.
