Aqua Dome, Tralee

(3.7/5 based on 500+ reviews on the web)
Escape the chilly winds at Aqua Dome, an indoor water park that maintains its tropical temperature throughout the year. Take an energetic swim in one of the wave pools, or float down the lazy river. Changing rooms and public and private showers are available, and an on-site shop sells swimwear. If you'd prefer to stay dry, try out the indoor mini-golf or game zone within a classic arcade. Check the park's website for monthly discounts; note that these online-only discounts are not available at the reception desk. • Great Fun for all the family.... The Aqua Dome has so much to offer! As a child I used to visit this place and now I am bringing my own kids! The Aqua Dome simply has it all from both indoor and outdo...  more »
  • We found the place great for young kids under 5 and not able to swim and they don't have a dedicated swimming pool for actual swimmers, it's disappointing if you kids are older. Definitely overpriced....  more »
  • This is a great family activity, water slide and waves for the children with sauna, steam room area for the adults, something for everyone, you can stay as long as you like, good café for a snack.  more »

  • You need to really put plenty of time aside if you are to get your money's worth, because it's fun but a bit on the expensive side. Don't go expecting to be able to go for a proper swim, it's more having a play in the water - the main attractions (waves, an outdoor water slide, a "river" type water current (fast and slow)) are only active for short periods throughout the day, so they tend to be crowded when they are. This also means that unless you spend most of the day there, you will probably get to experience each one only once or maybe twice. Other than that it's nicely done, and fun for the kids if they have a few pals with them.
  • Had a blast here, it doesn't matter what age you are, you will have fun! Could've spent the whole day between the pool, waves, slides, spas, river and so on! Also serves food and theres Crazy Golf.
  • Fantastic time at the Aquadome in Tralee on Saturday27 August. Amazing, helpful staff. A wonderful place to spend a day.
  • Absolutely fantastic, definitely worth a visit. We we there in late September and we didn't have any queueing or waiting. The whole facility is top notch
  • Wonderful place for families. Only downside is there is no hairdryer there. There are hand dryers which you are expected to use to dry hair. Its ridiculous. This may not be a big deal for most people but for anyone with litlle girls its a disaster.
