(150+ reviews on the web)
Historic Site
Get a breath of fresh air at Jerpoint Park, a historical spot filled with wildlife and impressive old trees. Walk among the oaks, chestnuts, limes, and beeches, and keep an eye out for birds. If you are feeling adventurous, take advantage of the park's "tracker packs," which include binoculars, a compass, and a magnifying glass. Watch a sheepdog demonstration and observe how the dog and its owner communicate and work together to herd sheep. This site also makes a perfect fishing spot--ask about the wild salmon and brown trout fishing.
