  • The beauty of this abbey is awesome. You can feel the history. I admire the carvings and stonework of these marvels.
  • Jerpoint Abbey is a place which is worth visiting, and if in addition travel it with a knowledgeable guide experience is unforgettable. This place appears in its own right in the book 1001 historic sites you visit before you die. After the visit, you will have an idea of the hardness of the lives of the monks who inhabited the Abbey, their work and prayers, his relationship with the nobility and the people, his studies... And most of these stories can be seen in its walls, chapels, columns... Just need a good explanation and a pinch of curiosity!

  • Wonderful architecture with an interesting history. The tour guide was great, she really helped paint a picture of what the abbey and life in it was like. Well worth the trip
  • There is a small fee, but tours are included if you like, and if you can, you should! Margaret was our guide. "An interactive comedy show with an immense amount of information" is a better description than "tour." It seems that all of the OPW guides are knowledgeable and clearly love what they do. Take advantage of these amazing people and let them show you around! Margaret, thank you so much for a most delightful time in this incredibly multi-layered historical site.
  • One of the most interesting tours and learned a lot about Ireland's history.
  • Nice Abbey. Great tour!
  • Loved it, The tour is a must
