  • There is a wealth of information on the famine. You can't really visit Ireland without visiting this essential bit of history. Also an exhibition about Loch Hyne; get to see the various sea/freshwater...  more »

  • Some great local information from during the famine and all given with audio guides
  • Nicely assembled and good information too. Keep going
  • This a most interesting museum, featuring two exhibitions (famine, Lough Hyme). We only had time for the famine exhibition but it was well worth it - considering the fact that in general, too little information is provided elsewhere on history / cultural heritage, this makes it an exception. The exhibition is well-organised, easy to follow, and of ideal length. Highly reccommended!
