  • Very pretty location for a countryside walk. Also contains a rare tourlough
  • What a nice surprise. Great ruins of castle and beautiful park around..
  • Nice place to relax and spend few hours with family.
  • This is the kind of castle that we like to visit. It's a bit of a ruin, and on the day we were there, we pretty much had it to ourselves. When you are visiting the castle, keep in mind that the park side of it used to be a good-sized lake that has now been drained (if you zoom to the right scale on the satellite image, you can see the remains of the wetland). It makes imagining this fortified structure a lot more fun. With that in mind, there's not a lot of access to the individual rooms that are left (a much of the castle has been destroyed), but we had a great time poking around in the castle, and walking around the outside to get a nice view from the cow pasture.
  • Nice place to spend time with family. It has rides for children.
