  • Took the kids here earlier today. I wasn't sure what to expect. The brochure and the website do not do this place justice. We spent between 2 and 3 hours here. We had the tour of the mine which was informative and fun. My kids range from 7 to 14 and they all enjoyed going down into the mine. Following the mine we spent quite some time panning for gold. The staff were brilliant and very knowledgeable. We could not have asked for more. Excellent value and would love to visit again.
  • Amazing place to visit. Very interesting mine tour with museum. Lovely grounds. Old railway walk. Sheep dog displays also.gift shop is brilliant great value for money. Highly recommend Glengola mines
  • Very welcoming folks undertaking the unlikely but beautiful project of reopening a 19th century lead & silver mine. Unearthing Irelands' socio-economic history as well as offering and adult and kids friendly attraction.
  • Very friendly guide and a very interesting tour I would recommend this as a place to visit when travelling around the west of Ireland.
  • Nice little mine with friendly staff. Not quite comparable to what one might visit in eg Harzen but the best in Ireland.
