  • Beautiful park lands and forest area for walking. Just off the Wild Atlantic Way. Well worth the visit. parkrun every Saturday at 9.30am
  • I have been coming here since i was a child. It has fantastic facilities. Playground for the kids, an outdoor cooking area and lots of lovely long walks.
  • Beautiful walk with lovely views and the playground was brilliant for the kids (2&4 years old)
  • Great facility, just outside of Oranmore. You'll need to have a car to get there. Great place to go for a walk, all the paths are asphalted now, so very accessible with buggies or wheelchairs. There are a number of monuments in the park such as Rinville House and Rinville Castle. There is also a wonderful walled garden, which you may not be aware of. The walled garden has a playground in it, and kids love it there( even older ones!). Bring a lunch, as there isn't really anywhere to get food/drinks. There are toilet facilities. Enjoy!
  • I walk my dog here. Lovely view over the.bay and the park and.woods.are well maintaines6

Where to stay in Galway

Stay at the center of Ireland's "Most Irish City," Galway City, by booking a hotel or hostel near Eyre Square, from which all city sights are walkable. If you prefer accommodation with more character, stay at a charming guesthouse or bed and breakfast just outside of the center, or look for lodging in the city's Latin Quarter, a bohemian neighborhood lined with cafes, galleries, and pubs. If you want to explore Galway County, book accommodations in the city, since it's a tourism and transportation hub on the West Coast. If you prefer the quiet countryside, seek out small, family-owned guesthouses on the Aran Islands or a cottage on the Connemara Peninsula.
