  • We stayed at Druids Glen during our weekend and it proved central by motorway to The European Club, Portmarnock, Royal Dublin and Baltry. The hotel is lovely and it has two golf courses of its own wit...  more »
  • THe SPA is well worth a visit. I was not staying in Druids Glen but visited the SPA for a fabulous facial. As we were both having treatments we availed of the facilities in the swimming pool/sauna/jac...  more »
  • We have played the place mid-November and despite winter temperatures in Germany it was pleasantly mild and even sunny in Ireland as almost always in winter. The place is a blast and you can just recommend it. Long and mostly broad fairways, true Greens and fair bunkers make this place a must if you are in the vicinity of Dublin. There is never a dull moment, and each offers its own challenges without having the place eventually drives such as E.g. the Corballis links course on the edge of despair. The green fee is quite expensive for Irish conditions in November with €65. However you get much and you can enjoy a Guinness or similar in the super beautiful old Clubhouse that once probably was something like a Manor House, afterwards also still maintained. Last but not least: the place is suitable for children, with some staying power is required. My 9 year old was slightly beaten-up after 12 holes, because it's still pretty much up and down. He has kept through then despite everything. Kindergreenfee is absolutely OK with €25

  • Fantastic venue for weddings. I film weddings here regularly and Nessa the wedding coordinator is second to none in terms of looking after the couple on the wedding day itself as well as the lead up to the wedding. Great food and service.
  • This is a fantastic hotel. The golf course is amazing and the rooms were spectacular. Love this place.
  • This 5* hotel was nothing short of excellent. The staff were absolutely fantastic. The food was delicious but not outstanding. The decor was superb. Rooms were clean as expected. Gym and Spa was perfect. Swimming pool etc were spot on. Any real negatives would be the bar area called the thirteenth. This was an area that was very noisy an every night we were there something was dropped and smashed. Other than that great place. The golf courses are very well kept. The Glen course was absolutely amazing and can see why it staged the Irish Open some time ago. The Heath course is also nice but needs more work. Enjoyed every day there and its location is perfect. Thank you to all working there and keep striving to improve and keep that lovely atmosphere going. • Superb hotel with two attached golf courses Has a rural feel but is only 30 minutes into Dublin. Excellent food delivered with impeccable service.
  • Very underwhelming for a 5 star place (compared to other same or even lower level places we've been to). Very little about my stay felt like 5 star. Feels old and outdated. No luxury. No 5 star attention to detail. There was nothing really wrong with the place, just very neutral and underwhelming, which a 5 star place should never be.
