  • Room was clean if a bit basic and small, but it's really only a place to sleep at the end of the day. The hotel was nice and the staff were friendly so you can't really ask for more than that. There's a pool too, although you've to walk next door to access it, which isn't a big deal. Overall it's a grand place to stay and the setting is absolutely phenomenal. I'd recommend it.
  • Beautiful Hotel with beautiful views, the room was lovely and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and the food was excellent
  • If it was not for the great food and bar atmosphere like it always is. it would be a zero star! We normally stay in a family friends house when we go to Mullaghmore could be up to 10 times a year. but this time we decided to give to the community for the Easter holidays. Everything was going fine, got to our room. it was a little warm but we thought it was down to the 15*c + weather we had that day. i took a shower to cool down, and when i got out i was covered in sweat. that was when we realised that the radiators were piping hot, we rang down to the lobby and was told someone would be here to help. we waited for 30 minutes with the door to the room wide open to get some air in. NO ONE CAME! My girlfriend found one of the cleaners who was more than helpful to go out of her way to try help. but really all that was gave to us was a radiator key and pretty much told to sort it ourselves. We then went to try change rooms, the woman at reception was adamant that the heating was off we offered to take her to our personal sauna to which she declined. we then went to grab some food and drinks to cool off and when we were finished we got handed a new room key. went in checked the radiators PERFECT! so we went and packed our things and moved rooms. after a day of hiking and walking we decided to go up to the room and watch the snooker. NOT A TV REMOTE TO BE FOUND! ohh its fine we can just use wifi and watch netflix. WIFI would not work in the new room. again i went down to the lobby to ask what was going on. and was asked if i "Could do without it for tonight" ( i was only staying for one night ) I love this little village its a second home to me and would hate to have to say anything bad about it. but 100 euros for a bed is a bit much. this should not be happening in 2019. Woman at reception was very very sarcastic when we checked out, "next time you come down, you can see your room first and make sure you have a TV remote and working wifi" The only saving grace to this experience was the Pier Head Bar. which is something everyone should experience when they come down this far. never had a bad word to say about it.
  • A friendly bustling business, decent helpful staff, very pleasant visit.
  • Called in for lunch and was met with friendly and helpful staff and the food served was very good and priced reasonable
