Welcome to Connemara Marble Visitor Centre the home of Connemara marble one of Irelands oldest indigenous Industries. The visitor centre was opened by Ambrose Joyce in 1965 and is celebrating 50 years in our Moycullen premises. We are the owners of two Connemara marble quarries which are located in the heart of Connemara known as βJoyce country "To visit Connemara Marble Visitor's Center on your trip to Moycullen, use our Moycullen trip planning tool.
Our Company is a Family Business and visitors to our centre will meet with 3 generations of the Joyce family. During the summer season we offer guided tours of the marble jewellery factory where we explore the geology and heritage of Connemmara marble and view silversmiths and craftsmen cutting and polishing the forty shades of green.

Loved visiting here. Authentic and good quality merchandise to purchase along with a tour.

A great stop for some solid gifts, you know, marble related gifts. Very pleasantly surprised by the informational tour that we got. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming, can't say enough good things. Be careful and/or quick if you need to dash across the road for a bathroom stop.

Well worth the stop! We watched artisans polishing stones, and we were treated to tea and wonderful scones!

Absolutely great experience took a tour group to visit they gave us a tour of the work shop where everything is made on site jewelry/ornaments Ambrose the owner was great he took the time to tell everyone the history of the Marble and 5 generation's of ownership of the Joyce family πππππππππππ
