  • This is the nicest, cutest place to visit! I had been looking forward to going there for a long time and I have to say that it was definitely worth the wait. It was lovely to meet all the donkeys, but...  more »
  • Donkeys are lovely creatures, a must see stop if ever in this area. All free and great for kids of all ages including elderly.  more »
  • Our slight detour to visit the sanctuary was totally worth it! So glad we were able to give a bit of love to each of the donkeys there. A slice of heaven in the center of Ireland!  more »

  • A beautiful place to visit. Such a wonderful cause. Lovely creatures, breathtaking views from the trails, incredibly kind, caring and informative staff too. Well worth a visit and certainly worth a donation if you can.
  • My two year old's favourite place. It's lovely, it has a long walk and a shorter route with donkey's everywhere. You can also take your dog, and there's a little shop where you can get drinks and snacks. It's a charity so it's free but you can contribute if you like. Lovely place.
  • Lovely, peaceful place to walk around. Or to sit on a bench and relax! It’s very tidy and well maintained, lovely flowers around the place. The staff were very friendly, helpful and full of interesting donkey related information. The lovely donkeys often come up to the fence for a pet. There are picnic benches so you can bring your own picnic, and there is a shop which sells teas, coffees, drinks, chocolate and ice cream. My children had a great time and they can run on a bit ahead of you quite safely, you can see them and they can’t get lost, it’s a loop walk. They can do a Treasure Hunt for a small fee, which keeps them entertained. They get a little chocolate reward at the end. They hold a few fantastic family friendly events during the year which you can find out about on their social media sites. A tour can be booked in advance for a group, or for a special occasion for someone. It’s very informative and interesting. You can also include grooming a donkey which is a great experience. It’s a bit out of the way but well worth a visit. You can stay as long as you like. There’s free parking and no entry free, so they really appreciate all the donations they receive.
  • Such a worthy cause. Well worth the visit. Entry No charge. But good to donate in little shop on exit or perhaps purchase some beautiful products like we did. Some fun great quality socks for adults and kids. Calendars too. Great to see so many Donkeys out. So cared for. Roaming freely and so loved. All shapes and sizes. Amazing walk around seeing pastures, fields and farm. No feeding these beauties. Go visit go support. Family, couples days out. Animal lovers. Natures best. Great day.
  • Visited the Donkey sanctuary on our trip to Ireland. Had such a great time visiting and walking around the grounds. The donkeys and grounds were well kept and the donkeys were happy running and playing in the sunshine. Thank you from USA - Utah
