  • Finally found a place for a good cappuccino in the area! This made our morning- we were so happy to find this on our drive. Friendly service too! Thank you.
  • It was surprising to see this shop here. It has many gems, fossils and anything related to rocks and minerals. It was a fun stop.
  • You have a stopover at the rock shop. The Irish coffee is a delicious. A must if you are in the vicinity.

  • THE ROCK SHOP has been on our list of favourite places to go in The Burren since we moved to Ireland 24 years ago. It is a large kid-friendly venue with every conceivable geological item you can imagine from the locality and around the world. The prices range from very small change (handy for a carload of kids who want a shiny treasure to take home) to expensive (but worth it) for huge items of a unique and stunningly beautiful nature. There is also a moderately priced cafe with outdoor seating also available. A trip to The Burren wouldn't be complete without stopping in. Be sure to leave time... there is so much to see!
  • If you're a rock hound or geologist, this is place is amazing. Very knowledgeable staff and they have a lot of retail space. You can even purchase minerals found from Ireland, and each one will tell you what it is and where it was found. They have the typical new agey stuff here as well - crystals for healing, cut and polished crystals, etc.
  • A wonderful surprise on my trip to the cliffs of Moher its only 10 minutes away and they have so many rocks and books jewelry a little cafe inside. It's a magical shop for rock lovers and anyone looking for something special to take home and remind them of there trip.
  • Huge selection of rare rocks and fossils. If you like pretty stones and rare meteorites then this shop is for your. It caters both to scholars and New Age fans. You can also enjoy a nice cup of tea.
  • Lots of cool rocks at good prices if you are into that kind of thing, and I think you will be surprise to find that you ARE into that. At least I was...We bought some beautiful earrings from here
