  • Who wants to experience the cliffs of Moher with less tourist crowds, is well advised with the private parking of a farmer. Branch: 1, 2km south of the "cliffs of Moher main parkplatzes" (that cost $6 per person). From the main road, follow the signs for 3, 5 km. The farmer requires 2 euro per car (no time limit). After approx. 500m you reach the ruins of "Tower of Moher" on the Hag's head. Already it has fabulous views of rock formations and the cliffs of Moher from the South. After approx. 3km closely on the brink, but flat, (at least 2 hours plans, because of the many photo stops), reach the visitors centre (free of charge). There is the total tourists throng.

  • Nice mostly to insert it as a subject in the pictures, but is in a State of disrepair and enter it doesn't give anything nice to see, but you are likely to arrive with mud ankles if it rained during the previous days.

  • We saw this tower during our visit to the cliffs of Moher. Can't access because it is framed by a path along the cliffs. This tower would probably deserve an explanatory panel to find out what it was.
