  • Where: Treaty Stone What: A historical monument in Limerick How was it: It was great to be in a place that has so much history. The day we were there had more of an authentic feel to it since it was foggy. It made us feel like we were back in time. Grade: Eli = 5, Serge = 5 Recommend: Yes, Limerick is great to visit. While you are there, take a moment to be by the Treaty Stone.
  • The Treaty Stone is a very important history piece on Limerick. I read quite a lot about the war and the peace treaty. Although somehow I felt that it could have been more on the landmark itself, maybe more totens with illustrations about the war, the was only one totem showing very briefly what the treaty is about. The location, however, is beautiful, a great view from king John's castle and the Shannon river. If you like history it is worthwhile, but read more about the history of the war and the treaty so you won't be disappointed.
  • Supposedly the Treaty of Limerick was signed on this stone. Not much to see here but if you're nearby go have a look.
  • Nothing much to say, it's a stone.
  • Location is correct as of 2015
