  • Very interesting and entertaining! Tom was very nice and informative, answering all of our questions thoroughly and with pleasure. The sheepdog demonstration was really cool and then we were able to.....  more »
  • Tom greeted us like family, gave us a long, fascinating demonstration of his dog, Prince, expertly working the sheep up and down a *very* steep hill, and then let us hold and feed two-week-old lambs.....  more »
  • Made reservations this morning because my daughter loves sheep. Drove to the farm from Galway which was a little crazy because of the rain but it was well worth it! When we arrived Tom met us outside....  more »

  • Tom is phenomenal and a great guy and his command of the dogs is outstanding. If you’ve never seen a working dog in action, this is a fantastic experience. It was very interesting to hear about the dogs tendencies and how Tom adjusts the training for each animal. Tom has insightful local knowledge too.
  • Fantastic experience and the highlight of our day. The farm is in such a beautiful location, and we got to watch a sheep herding demonstration, help shear a sheep, and bottle feed and hold lambs. A really unique experience, and great if you'd like to learn a bit about sheep farming and have a fun hands-on activity with sheep. Highly recommend!
  • Such a lovely activity, family friendly but also great for adults. We loved seeing the sheep dog demo and ‘helping’ with shearing the sheep and bottle feeding some lambs. Only €10 pp if you drive up there yourself so way too cheap (I believe families even get a discount) as you have over an hour of entertainment, stunning views of the fjord (take a short hike along the road or stay for a picnic after your tour!) and you support a local business. Go there if you’re in the area! - visit in July 2019.
  • This was such a cool experience that we stumbled upon at the recommendation of our B&B host! Tom was absolutely wonderful and, as a fourth generation sheep farmer, he had such a wealth of knowledge and obvious passion for this work. It was amazing to watch Sylvie (the collie) work and fascinating to learn about all the time that goes into training. Plus, getting to bottle feed, pet and hold lambs was a total joy! Would highly recommend to anyone passing through the Connemara area! Well worth your time, and at $13/adult, well worth the price ❤
  • Disappointing! Just seconds after we parked our car we were told by a very unfriendly young men that we’ve to paid 10€ per person or we have to leave immediately... :( we didn’t want to pay 20€ for a tour/show that is already in full swing. Nice area anyway.
