  • This is a very scenic place and is well worth a visit for the views alone. For anyone with a shipwreck or Cunard interest a visit is a must.

  • Very friendly staff at ticket office. Unfortunately not much to the museum itself. Some cursory information on the Lusitania and on the need for signal towers during the Napoleonic wars, but not...

  • Decided to do a loop down and back along the coast, and a stop off at the Old Head Signal Tower and Lusitania museum was a nice way to break the drive. I was fortunate to meet Myra, JJ and Shannon...

  • Fascinating place out on the Old Head. The tower and museum are most interesting. Then there is the lovely Lusitania Memorial garden to walk around. Most people don't realize that one of the ship's lifeboat davits which is standing in the grounds has been alignned to point to the ship's last resting place 11.34 nautical miles out from the end of the Old Head. There is an excellent cafe there too and toilet facilities. I can also recommend The Speckled Door pub and restaurant on the way out!
  • Only a small attraction, but a good one! The memorial to the Luisitania passengers is stunning and the view on a clear day is fantastic. Best of all the most helpful, knowledgeable and friendly guide in the shop. Well worth a visit
  • As a member of a community group we visited the Lusitania museum and Signal Tower. Congratulations to the local Lusitania Museum group for creating such a worthy memorial to a most tragic historical event. Apart from the historical significance it is a fabulous location to enjoy the views from the Old Head of Kinsale.
  • We visited here two weeks ago, what a fantastic site. We didn’t know about the signal tower and memorial garden - we were taking the scenic route to Wexford after a few days in West Cork when we came across it. The lady who sold us the tickets gave us a brief history of the Lusitania, it’s sinking and the aftermath. She was so passionate about it all, she really knew here stuff - it was so great to find a tour guide who loves what they are doing and so interested in the subject . It really is amazing to see what this local group have achieved at the site and their future plans for it . The views from the top of the tower were stunning, and the rolling fog made it even more dramatic. We’d definitely come back for another visit in the future. Facilities wise there were good clean toilets available and and a cafe on site too.
  • Quite informative, and they have done the bronze wall memorial placade very well.
