  • First of all, I understand that Ireland is big on golf. While I personally would rather eat the bottom of my shoe than play golf, I get it that some people live for the game. Well, for those who don't...  more »

  • Granted I am biased , but in my estimation the most aesthetically pleasing course I have played. On a fine day hard to find its equal.
  • I had flown to London on business for several years and learned of The Old Head on the video screens on BA. I was fortunate to play with my Dad (Pop) about 4-5 years ago. I went back 2 years ago and visited with my wife, however did not play. I am going back to play with my two sons and Pop again this weekend. All I can say is, hell yeah! Great Great time and a little slice of paradise. TOP NOTCH! I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE IT AGAIN!
  • Wow, what place not bad with clouds and spectacular in the sun. One of the great golf experiences!!!!!
  • Amazing experience to play the golf course but I miss the days when we could just walk through the fields out to the end of the head on summer nights under a full moon watching the breaking waves illuminating the dark cliffs
  • If you only play one golf course in Ireland, this is the one to choose! It sets atop the end of a headland off the southern coast of Ireland over looking the Atlantic Ocean and is the most spectacular course I have ever played. The views are majestic as the course. The personnel in the pro shop and restaurant are as fine as anywhere I have played, so leave some time to enjoy this aspect of the course. The caddies are top rate. I highly recommend this course.
