  • I always bring my family to the place when they visit Ireland. It's just an amazing spot you have to see in the Kinsale area. The ocean meeting the cliffs is just wonderful.
  • My golf buddy and I played the Old Head golf course on our golf trip to Ireland. This was the fourth course we had played that were rated high in the top 100 golf courses outside the U.S.A and by far ...  more »

  • Granted I am biased , but in my estimation the most aesthetically pleasing course I have played. On a fine day hard to find its equal.
  • I had flown to London on business for several years and learned of The Old Head on the video screens on BA. I was fortunate to play with my Dad (Pop) about 4-5 years ago. I went back 2 years ago and visited with my wife, however did not play. I am going back to play with my two sons and Pop again this weekend. All I can say is, hell yeah! Great Great time and a little slice of paradise. TOP NOTCH! I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE IT AGAIN!
  • Wow, what place not bad with clouds and spectacular in the sun. One of the great golf experiences!!!!!
  • Amazing experience to play the golf course but I miss the days when we could just walk through the fields out to the end of the head on summer nights under a full moon watching the breaking waves illuminating the dark cliffs
  • If you only play one golf course in Ireland, this is the one to choose! It sets atop the end of a headland off the southern coast of Ireland over looking the Atlantic Ocean and is the most spectacular course I have ever played. The views are majestic as the course. The personnel in the pro shop and restaurant are as fine as anywhere I have played, so leave some time to enjoy this aspect of the course. The caddies are top rate. I highly recommend this course.
