  • Took the local road through the valley, with my client on board, had a wonderful time driving in between the mountains and water falling down everywhere we passed  more »
  • ... and so it stays that way, I should write of course prefer no 5-points rating, it is of course clear. Maybe the one or other visitors will Shun but the narrow streets, which must be overcome if you wish to travel by car to the Black Valley. Alternatively you can season (probably March to early November) from Killarney by boat until Lord Brandon cottage drive it or by horse-drawn carriage through the gap of Dunloe "arrive", then to wander in the Black Valley. In any case it is worth: nature pure and absolute silence awaits you! Yesterday, Lord Brandon's cottage had (quasi a tearoom in the open) closed and nowhere noted, if and when it reopens. online, I can't find any information – at worst it opens again in March, like many other tourist attractions around Killarney.
