  • Ignore the few reviews that say this isn't worth seeing....Moll's Gap is just beautiful. Okay, it's not as impressive as Conor Pass, or as cool as the Gap of Dunloe, but, how anyone can say to skip it...  more »
  • Three years when I drove around the Ring of Kerry, I drove from Sneem to Killarney by the R568. Molls Gap is very near where R568 meets the N71. This year, I was in a bus, so we were on N71 between Ke...  more »

  • Awesome place for a stop by. Gets pretty crowded when all the coaches which does the ring stops by. There's a cloths shop which sells at a high rate but the cafe is OK, there's nothing nearby anyway for miles. Has ample parking outside, just on Mols gap, you can walk around outside and gape at the the lovely scenery all around. We touched here twice, on the way from South to Gap of Dunloe and also on the drive on the Ring, both times great pit stops. The best was, the lady at the cash gave a book let "Gems of Kerry" which served us well the next 3 days as a guide, highly recommend it as its a short guide to all you can do here and its free. Great place to pick up a cuppa and stretch your legs too, we found the souvenir expensive, but then, hay, its a tourist spot. If you have a small car, DO NOT take the big road down, take the Gap Of Dunlo Road, experience in a life time!
  • Nice, clean and reasonably price cafe. The various scones were really tasty.
  • Turns out that Avoca make and sell textiles and clothes which as stated in an old Stella Artois advert are reassuringly expensive. That's on the ground floor. The cafe upstairs also not cheap sells affordable food of imaculate quality where you would wish to eat everyday if you could. Tip drive on by and visit on your way back or on another day if a coach pulls in before you!
  • Definitely worth stopping here for a coffee, treat and sitting out to take in the scenery.
  • Excellent, quality, extremely friendly staff. Warning, This is Foodie heaven.
