Where to stay in Killarney

Travelers visit Killarney for the national park surrounding it, and there are plenty of places to stay in town that capitalize on the natural beauty of the valley setting. Because of its popularity, Killarney has more hotel beds than any other town or city in Ireland other than Dublin. Stay at a hotel or hostel in the town's center near the bustling corner of Main Street and East Avenue Road, or find a place along the side streets off Main Street for easy access to tourist shops, local pubs, and restaurants. There are plenty of affordable bed and breakfasts or guesthouses just within walking distance from the center, or you can stay outside of town at a scenic farmhouse or luxurious resort.

  • Good size shop good layout and good selection of places to eat. Small selection of shops. Bookshop was my favourite got some really nice books for my kids here and some great deals too.  more »
  • The centre really has it all, maybe one or two too many empty spots, but still many lovely stores, like the Kerry GAA Store and the Nike Factory Store.  more »

  • An interesting place! So busy!! Amazing...to be honest - I thought the prices were not all that good..but then I may not be into high end fashion enough :-) The layout is very nice - some great restaurants there and a small kids place place. Plenty of free parking - but can be busy!
  • Nike outlet very reasonably priced! Wife picked up some runners that she lives in they're so comfy! The stores are well priced and great spot for a bargain! Plus we met Enda Kenny there!
  • Great selection of shops, its a pity there is not more shops upstairs but what is there is great. Have food and coffee options like O briens, a cafe or Costa. There is also home baking stands in tge outlet centre on certain days which is lovely. Craft shops, Nike, Holland and Barretts, army surplus store which has a home section and tools. Pondon home, Edinburgh woolen mills, a eurostore and loads more. Definitely worth a visit
  • Poor shopping experience. Not enough variety. A lot of empty stores.
  • I like to visit the center a few times a year... Good quality shops...Pleasant staff and nice food places as well. It is well served from the point of view of a fine car park which operates a pay and display system. Also the railway station is next to the complex and a bus service. Good seating area inside where you can watch the world go by... And there are a few pop up stalls also from time to time.
