  • We have quite a hassle to find this nice site and it would be a pity to Miss so here's how to get. At Ballina take the road in the direction of Killala and continue straight until arriving almost at Killala. A little before you will see the sign on your left, I put a picture, take the small road on your right and the same continue straight up to fall on the other panels which will be on your right in front of the gate of the farm. Not very easy to park. We went between the two portals. Then you will see stairs in the wall on the right and go, put on shoes water resistant and good discovery!

  • Find this little gem was not an easy task, but once we took advantage, only, this Abbey to the real charm, plenty of peace and quiet in the middle of the campaign. The recesses, cloister and floor you will explore this place and imagine the conditions of the monks of the fifteenth. But it can equally be a good opportunity to make a hide and seek in family ;-) In any case don't miss out! P.S.: to get there, coming from Ballila turn right into the small country road to the sign (indicating the Moyne Abbey left because backwards) then stop you in front of the portal that wants to scare you with "beware bull". Then walk 10 minutes in the fields along the property.
