  • Local tours of Galway "cliffs of Moher and the Burren plateau" to join this while getting off, we went sightseeing. There are many high cross kilfenora and it is known as the "cross town". This church, built in the 6th century. At first glance looked like a ruined ceiling to collapse, but is being repair work. Most large Duarte Cross (Doorty Cross) was protected with a glass roof. Outside the garden (cemetery? ) Also had a cross and tomb stones of various shapes.

  • Stopped here while visiting the nearby tourist center. It's a beautiful, simple church, with lovely stained glass. Several historic crosses in the graveyard.
  • If you are in the area it deserves a stop, but not so much if we had to deviate from the path. It is a small stone roofless Cathedral (as it is usual in Ireland) where you can see several crosses pretty well preserved. See it all does not take more than 20 minutes, so it serves to make a stop in the trip before or after making a visit to the Burren.
