  • Nice island. Good views. Sea birds. Seals. Monastery. Good for short walks. Lacks wheelchair access.
  • Who wants to experience a touch of adventure likes, which is right here. A relatively small boat offers a nearly one-hour boat tour around the uninhabited island "Ireland BB´s eye" from the port of Howth out. It circumnavigates the island, admired the bizarre rocks, watching countless sea birds and can go on the island on land, there to enjoy a stroll or a picnic. The via ferrata by the Jetty on the island is getting used to though. Overall a nice little trip for little money, which is fun.

  • This place is another spectacle of nature. It's a ride that everybody should do, you can take the tour boat for a price well accessible and with local guide explaining about the crossing points. Wonderful.

  • The boat was supposed to stop at the bird colony. It didn't which Was disappointing. Also the ferry does not land on the island if the tide is too low. Island is great needs a proper guide not sure the skipper we had was verbal at all. Disappointing.
  • So it's 10€ to boat around the island and 15€ to land on it. But that's about it - this is literally just a boat ride around the island. That's great, and you do get some nice pictures, but there's no tour guide giving you a history of the Eye or anything - you basically spend 45 minutes on a small boat with some picture opportunities. For that price, I was honestly expecting a bit more.
  • If you're looking for a great trip around one of the most amazing landmarks in Ireland, look no further than Ireland's Eye Ferries. Their prices are really fair at €10 for a trip around the island and just an extra €5 to explore it yourself, and they are without a doubt the best and friendliest service for getting to Ireland's Eye. I noticed that some of the other services don't even give you the option to land on the island! Anyway, I was very glad that I found this ferry service and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for something to do around Howth!
  • Look no timetables or signs indicating departure. After the 11:00 am get down the West Pier with 10 € to pay the noisy and unstable boat that will go around the island. Not to be missed. Bring your binoculars.
