Absolutely an experience of a life time. I am not much for words, nor do I rate anything. But I just had to let everyone know just how amazing the farm is. The staff, especially Frances gave my wife and myself memories that will last a lifetime time! The scones were the best I have had in Ireland and the rhubarb spread was wonderful. I would definitely recommend anyone close to Galway to drop in for a visit.

A wonderfully pleasant way to experience the heart of Ireland. The hosts are very friendly with lots of information and stories about current and past life in rural Ireland. We had a great time, the scones are delicious!

Where to stay in Galway

Stay at the center of Ireland's "Most Irish City," Galway City, by booking a hotel or hostel near Eyre Square, from which all city sights are walkable. If you prefer accommodation with more character, stay at a charming guesthouse or bed and breakfast just outside of the center, or look for lodging in the city's Latin Quarter, a bohemian neighborhood lined with cafes, galleries, and pubs. If you want to explore Galway County, book accommodations in the city, since it's a tourism and transportation hub on the West Coast. If you prefer the quiet countryside, seek out small, family-owned guesthouses on the Aran Islands or a cottage on the Connemara Peninsula.
