  • Our experience at the quay street kitchen was one of the finest we have experienced so far. The menu was not overwhelming, our waitress Orla provided us with great service, very accurate, friendly and made a calm impression. The food was absolutely delicious. My girlfriend got vegetables and a carrot-chili-coconut soup, I got their daily special cod and chips. Probably the best chips ever. We would definitely recommend going here, as prices were also more than reasonable for the quality of food you're getting.
  • Best restaurant I've been to in Ireland and possibly, top 5 in all my travels. Delicious food, great vegan options, great cooking. Small menu but delicious. Try the crab bruschetta. Very cozy and comfortable spot with outdoor seating.
  • Amazing stew and lamb shank... all in a perfect cozy but elegant atmosphere. Highly Recommended
  • Very cozy place for two. Menu is short but delicious. Recommending mussels.
  • Great little restaurant! Amazing salad and dessert! Very helpful, friendly staff. Can be quite crowded. We sat in their outside dining area. It was lovely.

Where to stay in Galway

Stay at the center of Ireland's "Most Irish City," Galway City, by booking a hotel or hostel near Eyre Square, from which all city sights are walkable. If you prefer accommodation with more character, stay at a charming guesthouse or bed and breakfast just outside of the center, or look for lodging in the city's Latin Quarter, a bohemian neighborhood lined with cafes, galleries, and pubs. If you want to explore Galway County, book accommodations in the city, since it's a tourism and transportation hub on the West Coast. If you prefer the quiet countryside, seek out small, family-owned guesthouses on the Aran Islands or a cottage on the Connemara Peninsula.
