  • Strolling through the downtown streets, in Shop street, the shopping street, is this castle which is actually a fortified House. The most powerful of the Lynch family belonged to 14 tribes that ruled the city. Built of stone in the 14th century, this castle has a façade decorated with sculptures and family crests Lynch and King Henry VII. Today it houses a Bank and in the lobby you can see a 17th century fireplace. Worth a visit, too, because he is regarded as one of the most beautiful castles of Ireland citizens.

  • Institute name change shop Street, William Street, on the corner of Abbey Gate Street intersection. At first glance, in the grey square building is building State-of-the-ordinary. Still, under If you place inhabited centuries built in the 14th century, the most influential resident of Galway Lynch House, certainly history and presence felt was building. Wall is gold "LYNCH'S CASTLE", was the emblem of the Lynch family, elaborate carvings and gargoyles. Recalling the power of the Lynch home at the time, but is now used as a branch of the Bank.

  • It is now an AIB Bank. You can see the building exterior anytime and some of the interior when the bank is open. Not bad, but not really distinctive enough to go out of your way. If you're exploring the city center you'll likely run across it.
  • Nice building to walk past but almost every aib has that clean stone look anyway.
  • Interesting site to visit while in galway
  • Its a bank nice to look at.
  • Worth a look, nothing special.
