My son is learning to swim here, and it's Academy is much better than that at Kingfisher, Newcastle. Also had a nice panini with coffee for 6euro in the cafe. Relaxing atmosphere. I was there Wednesday afternoon.

Would have liked longer in the pool as we were visiting. Pools were excellent and facilities are clean with good supervision

First class pool and gym. Great value for money compared to other gym's around the country. Lots of secure parking (free) Literally across the road from salthill promenade.

Where to stay in Galway

Stay at the center of Ireland's "Most Irish City," Galway City, by booking a hotel or hostel near Eyre Square, from which all city sights are walkable. If you prefer accommodation with more character, stay at a charming guesthouse or bed and breakfast just outside of the center, or look for lodging in the city's Latin Quarter, a bohemian neighborhood lined with cafes, galleries, and pubs. If you want to explore Galway County, book accommodations in the city, since it's a tourism and transportation hub on the West Coast. If you prefer the quiet countryside, seek out small, family-owned guesthouses on the Aran Islands or a cottage on the Connemara Peninsula.
